What It Is

A framework that makes leadership impact visible and verifiable

Most leadership development programs measure activity — hours attended, modules completed, satisfaction scores. The Sostibl Catalyst Index™ measures something more meaningful: the actual leadership behaviours demonstrated in a live, high-stakes context, and the real-world outcomes they produced.

It draws on three independent streams of evidence, assessed by industry experts from Sostibl and FCRS facilitators, and combines them into a single Sostibl Convergence Score™ — a number that reflects both the quality of leadership and the quality of community impact, and the relationship between the two.

Sostibl is building the Catalyst Index as a validated standard. Founding Partners are part of that process, with full visibility into how the framework is developed and tested.

Youth Innovator Capabilities

Assessment of the outcomes produced by youth participants in the community challenge — the real-world environment within which executive leadership is demonstrated and tested.

This stream establishes whether the challenge context was genuinely complex, whether the youth team was meaningfully supported, and whether the community outcomes were substantive and independently verifiable.

Executive Leadership Development

Structured assessment of the six AI-proof leadership competencies demonstrated by each executive participant across all three program phases.

This stream measures behavioral evidence, beyond self-reported learning. Assessors look for demonstrated capability in context — decisions made, relationships built, and outcomes delivered under real conditions.

Convergence

The defining dimension of the Sostibl approach. Convergence measures the degree to which the executive leadership contributed directly to the community outcomes — and vice versa.

A high Convergence dimension indicates that the two streams genuinely reinforced each other: leadership was stronger because of the community context, and the community outcomes were stronger because of the leadership.

Assessment at every stage

T0

Baseline

Each participant completes a structured self-assessment at program start. Establishes the baseline against which all development is measured.

T3

Mid-point

A structured check-in at the halfway point. Facilitators review progress, identify development areas, and adjust coaching emphasis for the second half.

T6

Completion

Expert facilitator assessment at program completion. All three streams scored. Sostibl Convergence Score™ issued to each participant and the commissioning organization.

T+90

Follow-up

Optional 90-day follow-up assessment measuring sustained behavior change in the participant’s own organization. Available as an add-on.
